Hyatt Place Indianapolis / Carmel

My partner and I are exceedingly pleased with the quality of this location. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating. The pool was empty when we got there and nice! They have plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and towels. Their gym is full of LifeTime Fitness equipment, weights, and a Peloton. Everything worked great! The showers were hot and very nice and even the shampoo and conditioner they provide leaves hair nice and soft. We also checked out their complimentary breakfast bar which was top notch. They had plenty of options to choose from, everything from eggs with sausage and hash browns to yogurt bowls and cereal. All in all, the stay was perfect and we both agreed we’d come back in a heart beat.

Welcoming and friendly staff from the front desk, breakfast attendants, and house keepers. The room was clean, and breakfast was decent! I appreciated that the hot breakfast was replenished during the breakfast time for those of us who went down a little later. Plenty of towels and soap. Didn’t have any issues with the stay.

The staff was excellent and helpful. The hotel furnishing decor is modern and contemporary. The complimentary breakfast is standard but fresh.

My wife and I have been staying here while our son is in the NICU and the room is always clean and in working order and is very close to the Hospital. Will definitely be returning soon.

Perfect example of what this type of hotel should be. Feels fresh, clean and updated. Rooms in great shape. Nice, simple amenities. Enjoyed the combo bar/lobby/breakfast area. Great for morning and evening. Easy parking. Close to lots of necessary road trip stops...grocery, quick-service restaurants, gas, etc. Carmel and Westfield area are really nice suburbs. This hotel was perfect for youth soccer games at Grand Park up in Westfield.

Second stay at this clean, quiet and convenient Hotel. Riya checked us in and gave us the exact room location we requested. She was so nice and we received 2 free bottles of water. Every employee was courteous and professional. The breakfast offered eggs, ham, breads, muffins, cereals, fresh fruit, various juices and hot oatmeal. We have stayed at surrounding hotels but will be staying here - when we are in this area again.

We held our wedding at the Ritz Charles next door, and booking a block of rooms for our guests at Hyatt Place Indianapolis / Carmel was a JOURNEY. We started planning more than a year before our wedding. The first person we were told to work with was named Rita. Rita never worked. She was always on vacation or sick or out of office. When she did reply to emails, the information she provided was unhelpful at best and contradictory at worst. At one point she sent us documentation that was totally unprofessional. It is not an exaggeration to say that it looked like a 4th grade student wrote the documents. The experience was the most difficult part of planning our wedding. We were so frustrated we started to research transportation options to take our guests to a different hotel despite the fact we were being married next door to this one. Paying thousands of dollars for that was worth not dealing with this hotel's management. Then, after months of stress, Emily arrived. Just like that, Rita was gone. (Still not sure what happened to her.) Emily, unlike her predecessor, was competent. She gave clear answers, actually responded to emails and was a dream to work with. Everything went smoothly from there. In the end, after a whole lot of stress, everything ended up great. But I can't give 5 stars after what Rita put us through.

Very nice, clean hotel. Easy access to local events. The breakfast was good enough we didn't need to go out and spend extra money. I'd stay here again if I was ever in the area.
